Green and Clean

Image
Earth Day has since gone and past; I'm wondering ~ what did everyone do for Earth Day? Did it make a big change in your life? Some of my friends planted trees, others decided to use natural solutions for cleaning, etc. I have a couple of different articles I'd like to share. Originally I was going to post this as the "Toxic Generation" (primarily based on an email my Dad sent to me and some research into the matter of plastic). Now, this post is a combination of Toxic problems and Helpful Solutions. First, a quick article about 3 issues items most people talk about, then the article/thoughts about plastic and last ~ some natural solutions to cleaning. Sorry if it's green overload! One particular Earth Day article stated there are so many "green" choices that can be made ~ one can feel overwhelmed. People start worrying about small stuff and don't make it to suggestions that can make a difference. "Instead focus on the areas where your actions wi

Dad Swallowed a Smurf

Isn’t that the best picture ever? Hehe. After I took it, Greg said, “Ohhh no, Aleta has something to blog about!” Dad remarked, “Don’t you DARE put that picture up.” But he knew better. He’ll probably even share my blog with family, because, I mean, hey, it’s priceless! It looks like Dad swallowed a Smurf. It isn’t overly sweet like most ice creams. It is smooth and yes, it tasted, well ~ good. I don’t know how to describe it. Roda is educating us about her culture as much as she’s learning about ours! The picture was from tonight, when my family came over to enjoy some leftover food from Easter. Roda made egg rolls, which she knows I love, as well as

Happy Easter

Ever have Blogger's Block or maybe it's Finger Fatigue? There are things I'd like to blog about, but I don't know if it's blog worthy or interesting. For now, I'm just doing a quick post to wish everyone a Happy Easter. Some of my friends came by the other night to help Greg and I decorate Easter Eggs. I haven't done that in years and it was such fun! We are kids at heart; it was good to put aside the routine work and finger paint eggs. If you'd like to see pictures, click here . Below are some blogging topics about stories I'm considering sharing with you, let me know in the comment section if any of these sound interesting enough for me to blog: Purple Yam Bread Execution Fees Thong for the Day Male Gossip Toxic Generation
