Pumpkin Patch New Family Tradition
We went to the pumpkin patch in Hammond with our son. It was great! They had lots of props for picture taking, a pumpkin patch, picnic tables and tents (they didn't sell food, but welcomed anyone bringing a meal to enjoy their lunch there on the grounds).... it only cost $ 7.00 per child (nothing for the adults). I mean, really? Where can you go for seven bucks for two adults and one child and have a lot of fun?!
Our iPhones ran out of juice with all the pictures we took :) Are you ready for cuteness overload??
Love the next one - already has a shoe off!
Just chillin with the pumpkins
(Below shot, my husband fussed at me, "You have my leg in the shot! I told you to tell me when to move my leg." Hehe)

Mommy picked out a pumpkin for Gregory.
No matter what we did - call, whistle, crumble crunchy leaves, he would NOT look up. I think someone told him what happens to the turkeys!
Happy to be back on the wagon :)
Afterwards, we went to visit our good friends, Kristen and Bill. They live close by and it was perfect timing to give them a hug and wish them a happy anniversary (they are married 7 years).
Below: Kristen and Gregory - with Kristen and Bill's dog - N'awlins - yes, it's a dog, not a horse.
Gregory is still learning how to "softly" pet an animal, rather than grab the fur.

It was a great day and I really hope it's a tradition we can continue in the years to come!
