Meeting Friends

When I was pregnant for our baby, my husband and I talked about how we wanted our child to be happy being held by other people.  I've read that separation anxiety starts at 6 months, but I'm hoping my baby, being held by other people all this time, won't go through that.

My friend, Shawn, who I met through Kim (we both stood in Kim's wedding) during our college years, came to visit.

Shawn brought her new little puppy over and our two dogs had fun chasing each other.  Shawn held Gregory and remarked that his neck control was really good :)

My parents came by to visit, not just us, but also to meet our guest. Lauren was a student of my Mom's when Mom taught the 3rd grade.  When I was a senior in high school, I would get out of school an hour and a half earlier than my Mom's school.  After my classes were finished, I went to my Mom's school and helped her out with her students.

Years later, many years later, on Facebook, Lauren sent me an email.  She remembered my mom and also remembered me going to the classroom to help.  Through Facebook we caught up and she came over to meet Gregory and my parents.

It's amazing to see how a child can bring people together in such a joyful way!

I think the reason I take so many pictures is because I don't want to miss a moment.  I want to treasure as much as I can and have the memories too.

You are blessed that little Gregory is such a happy baby and lets others hold him. Not all babies work like that. Precious pictures. He is so CUTE!!!!

All of my kids had separation anxiety if anyone but ME held them. So I think you're smart!
