Newest Family Member in PINK

She's so tiny.... so gosh darn cute!  We have pictures of her at such a young age and my parents are painting the down pink!

Meet the newest family member :)

Isn't she precious!  She only weights a pound and a half.  She's six weeks old and is a mix of toy poodle and teacut poodle.  My Dad is afraid that he's going to step on her!  She sleeps a lot but loves to play and when she runs, it's more like she hops like a bunny.

Originally Mom was going to name the puppy Blondie, but she received too many "oh, don't name her that"comments, so Mom was on the hunt for a good name.  I called Mom one morning and asked if the puppy was eating anything.  Mom said, "The only thing she will eat is a biscuit."  I laughed and said, "That's what you should call her!"  Mom loved the idea.  Yeah!  I got to name the puppy!  Woot Woot.  Mom later said, "Perfect name, because I even spilled jelly on her."

I'm thrilled that my parents bought a puppy.  I think she will be good for them :)

My parents were leaving the Wal-Mart parking lot when Dad read out loud, "toy poodles for sale"... and the rest is history :)  Talk about an impulse buy.  Hehe.  Mom said, "We have a new puppy and a new grandchild on the way."

Oh, wait, did you think I was revealing our baby's gender?  Not just yet :)

Here are some more too cute puppy pictures.

You scared me half to death. When you said new family member, I had visions of your baby being premie. I knew it could be that way because you aren't far enough along yet. Still. . . you get the idea.Anyway, welcome Biscuit!

When I saw pink, I thought you meant the baby!

My aunt has a dog named Biscuit. He is a Cocker Spaniel. I think I also met a Boston Terrier named Biscuit.

Start teaching her now not to bark at everything.

Ohhhh, I'm so sorry, Glynis!! I didn't mean to scare anyone, but I can see how it would be a scary first thought and totally understandable. Sorry, sorry!!

He he Aleta I thought you were making an announcement on your blog about the sex of the baby. This puppy is so beautiful and I love the name Biscuit, it is perfect. I agree, I think it will be wonderful for your parents (especially your Dad I bet) and besides, it will get them in training for the next newest member of the family. Hope you are well.

Baby Biscuit is precious. I am a real sucker for baby animals. Doesn't matter if it's cats or dogs or what. They are all adorable.
