11 week ultrasound

This week we had our 11 week ultrasound.  The technician did a bunch of different  measurements and afterwards I had an informative conversation with my doctor.

Dr. Wild said that everything looked great.  She is still keeping me on progesterone pills for one more week, even though she doesn't think I need it.  She wants to be sure.  I asked, "What if the placenta doesn't make its own progesterone?"  She was adamant, "It will.  100 percent of the time."  And so, I let that worry walk away.  Dr. Wild said, "At this point you have less than a 5 percent chance of a miscarriage."  She was so positive and upbeat, that it left me feeling great!

The baby's heart rate was 170 and at one point when the top of the head is being measured, the baby moved, so cute to see!  And you can see the eyes at that point too.  Pretty wild.

Below is a picture from the ultrasound and also a youtube video.
