Privacy and Cell Phones

My Dad sent an article to me about cell phones and how the Big Brothers of this world (and the Sinister Brothers of this world) are tapping into our conversations, whereabouts, purchases, searches, even conversations that aren't on the phone - if a cell phone is near you, then your conversation can be heard.... you name it and they are tracking it.

Bottom line... if you have a cell phone, you are leaving bread crumbs of your daily on-goings. The only way to stop it is if you take the battery out of you phone.

After reading the article, CLICK HERE, it's enough to make me want to ditch my iPhone4S.

Well, not really. I like Siri :)

I absolutely believe that we are being tracked esp. from our purchases via the Internet. I am not willing to give up my Iphone 4S or any other technology but ...it is curious if you order something on line, you will get dozens of emails within minutes with similar products being offered. If we book a hotel on line, within seconds we get offers for rental cars and airlines.

I think personal privacy is becomeing a thing of the past.

It's scary. I don't like it; on the other hand, what would we do without access to people at the drop of a hat ... when traveling or simply going to the store. No good answers.
My daily goings-on are neither interesting nor lucrative. Listen away.
