Crispy Oven Baked Chicken

A good friend of mine gave me this recipe years and years ago. The first time I cooked for my husband, this is what I made. It's a family favorite now :)

Ingredients:
1 cup Progresso Bread Crumb Italian Style
Pam Spray
3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon dried basil (ok, honestly, I use a LOT more than 1 teaspoon)
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 tablespoons butter (melted)
1 egg
6 boneless skinless chicken breast (I prefer the tenders)

Instructions:

Heat over to 375
Use PAM to grease pan
Combine bread crumbs, cheese, basil, pepper and melted butter
In another separate bowl, beat egg
Dip chicken in egg and then in bread crumb mix
Place chicken on pan and bake at 375 for 30-45 minutes until chicken is cooked through.

Sometimes I'll sprinkle an extra amount of cheese after I've flipped the chicken around in mid bake.

Note to self: Increase the seasoning and add blackened seasoning - I tried this tonight and it tasted even better! Before it was even cooking for 5 minutes in the oven, my husband said, "It smells delicious already!"
