This time of year

I love this time of year. It's not the candy, the decorations, the cool weather, the color changes (well, we don't get fall colors in New Orleans much any way with the ever green trees)...

It's knowing that family gatherings are upon us. Holidays are in the air. You can feel it with the crisp cold fronts and winter dreaming.

It's the ending of the year, taking a glance back and realizing there are only a few more months of 2011 to make it the best that it can be... to get the most out of it...

Memories are so precious. When family gathers, that's the time to make those wonderful memories.
