Diamonds are forever
this one sailing high
catching rainbows and
whisking the clouds
and we chase it, hair
tumbling down and around
matching the ribboned
tail. Feet on the ground
while dancing on the breeze
an illusion of a shooting star
rising up into the sky
rumor has it.....
with a painted heart in the frame
I was wrapped around
your finger before you even
whispered, "Be Mine"
