I'm participating in Tabith'a Sunday Citar. Click here to see her site and join in on the fun! (post a picture to go with a quote). This Sunday ~ it's all about nature.
(Oak Trees in New Orleans City Park ~ They survived Katrina with deep roots)
"A few minutes ago every tree was excited, bowing to the roaring storm, waving, swirling, tossing their branches in glorious enthusiasm like worship. But though to the outer ear these trees are now silent, their songs never cease." John Muir
(picture in Metairie by Lake Pontchartrain – sunset)
"Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience." Ralph Waldo Emerson

You know, with its giant spread and solid position, that so much more is possible, if only the roots are deep and have grown over the years !
Lovely pictures. Glad that they survived Katrina !
And... Rush, you wrote, "citar in India, is the name of a musical instrument" Greg surprised me, because he told me that was the meaning of Citar before your comment. How interesting ~ poetic if you will ~ music, inspirational quotes and pictures.
maybe i will join too :)
