Planes Boats Parks and Pools

Yesterday we had an awesome day with family at the Children's Museum.  I shared a ton of pictures on Facebook, but here are just a few.  First, we met up with Kevin, Erica and their three children, Cameron, Layla and Celeste at Danny's condo in the Gallery Row Condominiums.

Gregory found some Mardi Gras beads in Danny's condo and immediately claimed them.  Nola Boy for sure!

Gregory loved the shotgun playhouse at the museum - just his size! And he loved feeding carrots to the horses...

The room that captures your shadows!

Playing with some effects....

The day ended back at the condo, having lunch and going to see the condo's roof top pool

We had a great time yesterday - we didn't stop.  Well, the parents mostly ran after the kids.  The first time we brought Gregory to the museum was a year ago.  He could only really enjoy the toddler area.  But this time?  Gregory was all over the place - going into every nook and cranny, investigating all the toys, all the steps, all the educational materials.  I loved seeing how thrilled he was to play and learn.

Today was all about movement.  It started with plane chasing.  Gregory loves toy planes and he likes watching planes take off.  First - breakfast at our favorite place - Caffe Latte Da:

Waiving "hello"

If you're happy and you know it, "Stick out your tongue"

Little Farms playground is in the shape of a pirate ship.  It's nice, because it's covered and that keeps the sun from heating up the playground equipment.

See those steps, by the end of the time we were there, Gregory was climbing them without any assistance!

I liked how the screen cover had the pirate skulls.

No Daddy, I don't want to walk the plank (slide)

But he would go down the slide with Daddy.

Eventually Gregory went down the slide side by side!

Then we went to Rivertown to look at the boats.

We ended the day at Oma and Opa's house with some pool fun.
