~ Segway Tours in New Orleans -oohhhhhh, we're going to do this soon! I got a great deal on Groupon for 2 Segway tours. They are pricey, but if you keep up with Groupon, sometimes you get a great bargain. Greg and I have been on segways before when we went to Disney and thought they were fun. Hopefully I'll have a blog post about this experience in the near future.

~ Street Pronunciation.
"Burgundy" Street - don't pronounce it like the color.
It's pronounced: "bur GUN dee."
City of "LaPlace" - it's not La Place, it's "LaPlass"

~ Street Car
Say it 3 times. Street Car, Street Car, Street Car. It's NOT a Trolly! Everyone was thrilled when the street cars started running again after Katrina. I thought for sure we might have lost them. I love the mahogany seats and the rumbling sway of the car along the "neutral ground". There's a certain charm and romance to the ride. During the holidays, people will get on the street cars and start singing Christmas carols.
