March Birthdays

Remember how the Big Bear Lake vacation ended? With me getting sick... I still have it, yes, after all this time. I had to see the doctor twice. First time, he said it was a sinus infection. He gave me a shot and two prescriptions. I felt better, but it was persistant and came back like a tidal wave. Second visit, another shot and two new prescriptions. Seems I have a bronchial infection as well as sinusitis (which was resistant to the first group of meds), oh joy. I'm feeling better, not 100 %, but I'll take better. Let's put it this way, I was REALLY HAPPY to go to work! I can only take so many days at home being sick. After a while it gets depressing and annoying.

Soooo, feeling better now - Yeah! But I missed Greg's parents' birthday party :( I did ask Greg to take some pictures. He actually took pictures of the birthday cards. Really funny ones too. Greg said, "Everyone was laughing at me, because I took pictures of the cards, but I wanted you to see them." Isn't he such a sweet man?

After I saw the pictures and thought of how many family members in Greg's family are born in March (7, I think?).. and it's a family with a lot of Irish.. March....Irish... Ok, I had to have a little fun with a couple of the pictures. It's my way of saying, "Wish I could have been there." I'm looking forward to seeing the family in a couple of weeks to celebrate the other birthdays!

Yikes! Sounds like you have it bad! Hope everything clears up and that you feel 100%!
Maybe your in-laws should just throw another party!
Have a great day!

Glad you are feeling better. It's funny, I'm retired and stay at home much of the time, but when I get sick I hate having to stay at home.

My sister in law has been struggling with a persistent sinus infection for months now, even after rounds of antibiotics, like you. She finally went and saw a specialist and it turns out her nasal cavity is too narrow, so her sinuses aren't draining properly. That means, no matter how many times they treat the infection, her sinuses will just continue to get re-infected from the standing fluids. She's going to have to have surgery to widen her nasal cavity and drain her sinuses. I sincerely HOPE that you are suffering from the same thing, but I thought you'd find the information useful if your infection persists. I hope you feel better!

Hope you are feeling all right by now...and it was really thoughtful of Greg to take snaps of all the cards and stuff that would let you have some fun even though you could not be there!

Glad you're feeling better. It seems like every time I get in an exercise groove, I get to feeling sick and it ruins it all!

That was sweet of Greg to take pictures!!

I love the pictures! The first one is my fav! :)

I hope you fully recover. It sucks being sick for a long period of time. It sucks being sick at all but it really is just so much worse when you don't seem to be getting better at all.
