101 List for 1001 days

Inspired by Semi Charmed Wife (she has a wonderful site!), I'm following her list idea of "101 things to do in 1001 days."

Goals are a great idea and help to keep a focus on obtaining what you want and need. In doing some research about making goals, it seems that being specific, yet flexible is the key. Giving 1001 is the flexible part, because there is time to get things done. But the specific comes to the actual goal itself.

As each goal is achieved, I'll notate the day it took place next to the goal.

My starting day is today, April 11, 2007 and my ending day is Jan 7, 2011. If you want to figure out how to find your ending day, click here.

Excellent list! I've had so much fun with mine already. I decided to make a list of at least 5 things to cross off at the beginning of each month. So far, so good!

Hi Jen! Thank you, I think the list is doable and I look forward to the results. I've already accomplished one thing, painting the room yellow - Woo Hoo! I like the idea of picking 5 things to do at the beginning of each month - great idea!

I started a list of things I wanted to accomplish before I died, so some of the things on the list can't be done until I'm a grandmother, which is many years away. But of the 60 things on the list I have already accomplished 16of them and these weren't small goals. Many involve travel, the purchasing of a home and the starting of Mike's business. I feels good every so often to cross another thing off the list. This summer I will be able to cross off traveling to Europe! HB

Hi HB, I think it's wonderful that you are going to Europe. I wnat to hear all about it! I like the idea of a 2 1/2 year list, it gives some leeway, but still a goal time close enough to make you want to finish the things sooner than later. I'm so glad that Mike's business is doing well and that ya'll took on that endeavor. It's scary, but has been worth it! Hugs*

I like your list as well as Jen's!

I'll have to jump on the bandwagon and do one myself!

Thanks for your post by the way! :-)

Hi Cyn,

Thanks for your comment and I enjoyed visiting your site! Definitely do the list. It takes some time to create, but it's so worth it and gives me something to focus on. Sometimes you think, "Gee, I have free time" and instead of doing something productive, I can let it go to waste. This list will keep me productive and feeling good about the results! Have fun with it!
